The Classic Series ’72 Telecaster Thinline emerged with the innovative dual-humbucking pickup configuration introduced that year. Its features included a semi-hollow ash body with an f-hole design, a U-shaped maple neck boasting a bullet truss rod nut, a three-bolt neck plate featuring Micro-Tilt™ adjustment, a maple fretboard, and vintage-style string-through-body hard-tail bridge and tuners.
