With Takamines distinctive NEX body style, the stylishly crafted P7NC is a singers delight, combining the power of a with balanced tone that perfectly complements the vocal range.
Features
It features a resonant solid spruce top with scalloped "X" bracing and solid rosewood back and sides for superior balance and articulation, a convenient Venetian cutaway for easy access to the upper reaches of the fingerboard, and elegant maple body binding with dark wood purfling and abalone rosette.
Performance Enhancing Features
Other performance-enhancing features include Takamine's asymmetrical neck profile which is slightly thinner on the treble side so that it fits the natural shape of your hand, resulting in a comfortable feel and improved playability. The split bone saddle provides more accurate intonation, and the rosewood bridge features abalone-dot ivory pins.
Premium Design Appointments
Premium design appointments include an ebony fingerboard with ivory binding, abalone "snowflake" inlays, a dark rosewood headcap with abalone Takamine logo, gold tuners with gold buttons, a natural bone nut and smooth gloss natural finish.
Takamine's proprietary CT4-DX preamp system
Built with the performer in mind, it features Takamine's proprietary CT4-DX preamp system paired with duo of the unique Palathetic under-saddle pickup and Takamine original soundboard transducer for peerless amplified response. The CT4-DX provides independent control over both pickups, each of which will then have two-band EQ and a notch filter control. You can also alter the mix levels of each of the pickups, and an onboard chromatic tuner.
In addition to the Takamine Palathetic pickup already on board. this model comes with a second pickup The Takamine original high-quality Soundboard Transducer. This adds a whole new dimension to the already natural sound of our famed Takamine electronics.
