Hagstrom Deluxe-F, mandarin burst, made in China 2007. Hagstrom are a Swedish brand dating back to the 60s; their designs have that particular Scandinavian flair for sleek lines and understated elegance.
The Deluxe-F is a modified version of their iconic Swede model, with a semi-hollow body, flame maple top, floating tailpiece and updated electronics.
It's a stunning instrument: With the vibrant Mandorin Burst, bound headstock, art deco tuners and the plump F-hole make it a real head turner. The neck is a fairly slim C style shape with a pretty flat board and tall frets, very versatile from Jazz to to Rock Rythum to Shredding.
